“I understand bag checks are standard procedure. However, after I clearly showed my receipt, the security staff still held onto my personal items and refused to return them immediately. This was unnecessary and inappropriate. I felt unfairly treated and embarrassed.”

“I was stopped for a bag check while other customers were allowed to leave without being checked. I fully cooperated and showed my Coles receipt immediately, which clearly listed the items. Despite this, the security staff held onto my items for several minutes and behaved in a rude and dismissive way. I felt embarrassed and unfairly singled out. Very disappointing experience.”

“Been to this Chemist Warehouse quite a few times. There’s a Taiwanese back counter staff member, Chloe, who speaks Mandarin, which makes things much easier for my mum. She’s always friendly, patient, and explains things clearly. Really appreciate the help.”

“I went to get some vitamins with my friends yesterday, but they were sold out. So I asked Bakali (I hope I spelled his name right). He did his best to help us, He even climbed up the ladder to check the top shelf, looked at the back, and finally found the exact vitamin we wanted. I really appreciate how eager and helpful he was!”

“Minus one star for the security girl. I’ve shopped here many times and most staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the security staff today spoke in a very commanding way, without greeting or allowing time to respond. Clear instructions are fine, but basic courtesy would make a big difference.”
